The area is rich in biodiversity and is home to the Vargaliar Elephant Camp, where visitors can witness 21 elephants in their natural habitat. Trekking in Parambikulam provides a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in nature and create unforgettable memories.  

To reach Anamalai Hills, travelers can make their way to the nearest junction at Pollachi, located 70.5 km away, or opt for Coimbatore International Airport, approximately 118 km from the destination. A drive from Coimbatore to Anaimalai Hill covers a distance of 60 km. 

Some of the top places to visit in the area include Anaimalai Tiger Reserve, Chinna Kallar, Monkey Falls, Parambikulam Tiger Reserve, and Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary.

 Activities such as trekking, hiking, plantation visits, and elephant rides are popular among visitors, making September to June the best time to explore this natural wonderland.
