Day 1
Upon your arrival at Cochin airport, you will be greeted by our Guest Relation Executive who will introduce you to your driver. From there, you will proceed to Munnar, a picturesque and idyllic tourist destination in Kerala. Situated at an altitude of 6000 feet, Munnar was once the favored summer retreat of the British rulers during colonial times. Munnar is renowned for its vast tea plantations, pristine valleys, majestic mountains, diverse flora and fauna in its wildlife sanctuaries and forests, and the refreshing aroma of spice-laden cool air. Upon reaching Munnar, check in at your hotel. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around the tea estates to experience the essence of this charming hill station. Enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel in Munnar.
Day 2
Today's itinerary in Munnar includes a full-day sightseeing tour of the beautiful hills and attractions: 1. **Eravikulam National Park**: Explore the wildlife and diverse flora at Eravikulam National Park, known for its rare species and jungle inhabitants. 2. **Mattupetty Dam**: Visit the Mattupetty dam, situated at an elevation of 1800 meters above sea level, and enjoy the scenic views of the surroundings. 3. **Echo Point**: Experience the natural echo phenomenon at Echo Point, where your voice reverberates back to you, creating a unique experience. 4. **Tea Museum**: Discover the fascinating world of tea processing at the Tea Museum (closed on Mondays), where you can see machinery and learn about the tea-making process.
