Chennai - Thiruvidanthai - Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram (140 Kms / 1.5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Chennai and begin your journey to explore the temples in Thiruvidanthai, Mahabalipuram, and Kanchipuram: 1. Thiruneermalai Neervanna Perumal Temple: Located near Pallavaram, this temple is dedicated to Sri Ranganathar, who is depicted in four postures - standing, sitting, lying, and striding. 2. Nitya Kalyana Perumal Temple: Situated in Thiruvidanthai near Mahabalipuram, this temple's main deity is Nithyakalyana Perumal (Varaha). It is believed to have been constructed by the Pallavas. 3. Sthalasayana Perumal Temple: Also located in Mahabalipuram, this temple is dedicated to Sthala Sayana Perumal. According to legend, Sthala Sayana Perumal appeared before the sage Pundarika. After visiting these temples, check in at your hotel. In the evening, drive to Kanchipuram and check in at another hotel. En route, visit the Varadarajar Temple located at the entrance of Kanchi Town. The main deity here is Varadaraja Perumal, and the temple's original idol was made from a fig tree (Attimaram). This temple has a rich history with contributions from various dynasties like the Cheras, Cholas, Pandiyas, Pallavas, Vijayanagara, and Hoysala kings.
