Day 1

Arrival at Trichy – Kumbakonam

Arrive at Trichy International Airport/Railway Station early in the morning before 10:00 AM. Upon your arrival, our tour executive will be there to greet you and introduce you to your designated driver. Head straight to Thingalur village in Kumbakonam to explore the Chandiranaar Temple, also known as Thingalur Kailasanathar Temple. While the main deity is Lord Shiva, the presiding deity is Soma (moon). It is believed that worshipping at this temple can alleviate the suffering caused by Chandra Dosha. Next, proceed to the Apathsagayeswarar Temple or Guru Temple in Aalangudi, dedicated to the planet Jupiter or Brihaspati, renowned for wisdom, education, and fine arts. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Suriyanar Temple, the only temple in Tamilnadu with all 9 shrines of Navagraha. Conclude your day with a visit to the Sukran Temple at Kanjanoor, dedicated to Lord Sukran or planet Venus, known for resolving issues related to love, marriage, beauty, and comfort.

Kumbakonam – Thirunallar – Kumbakonam

Commence your day by paying a visit to the Tirunageswaram Naganathar Temple, also known as Rahu Stalam, situated in Tirunageswaram, a village on the outskirts of Kumbakonam. This temple is renowned for its ability to alleviate Naga Dosha, attracting numerous devotees. Unlike other places, Lord Rahu is depicted with a human face here, rather than a serpent face. Afterward, proceed to the Saneeswaran Temple in Thirunallar, dedicated to the planet Saturn. Devotees firmly believe that immersing themselves in the holy waters of Nala Theertham at this temple will cleanse them of any misfortunes and afflictions caused by their past actions. In the afternoon, make your way to the Sri Naganathaswamy Temple, also known as the Kethu Temple, located in Kilperumpallam near Thiruvengadu in the Mayiladuthurai district of Tamilnadu. This temple is dedicated to Ketu Bhagwan, representing the South Lunar Node. Ketu is depicted here with the body of an asura and the head of a snake. Finally, return to Kumbakonam for a tranquil stay after savoring a delightful dinner from your preferred restaurant along the way to your hotel.

Kumbakonam – Vaitheeswaran Koil – Trichy

This morning, embark on a journey to Mayiladuthurai to explore the Vaitheeswaran Koil (Sevvai Temple) dedicated to the planet Mars or Angaraka. Devotees frequent this temple in search of remedies for ailments. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Swetharanyeswarar Temple in Thiruvenkadu. Known as a temple for Mercury, offering prayers to Budha Bhagavan at Swetharanyeswarar Temple is believed to bestow blessings of knowledge and a good education. Conclude your day by returning to Trichy International Airport / Railway Station in the evening, carrying with you cherished memories and divine blessings of Navagrahas for your journey back home.
