Day 1

Mumbai-Nasik

Once you reach Mumbai, a representative of South Tourism will meet you and guide you on your way to Nasik. Nasik is one of the most visited pilgrimage places in Maharashtra. Your journey will take you nearly 4 hours on the road. Once you reach Nasik, stay at a hotel and spend some quality time with your family and friends. Later that evening, pay a visit to Triambakeschwar temple. This temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingi Temples in India. After visiting Triambakeschwars temple, continue your journey by visiting the other temples in the area. Panchavati Temples have a historical significance in the great Hindu epics. It is believed that Lord Rama visited this place and this is a temple dedicated to Him and His wife Goddess Sita. His brother, Lakshman, was also a devotee here. The entire region of panchavati is very sacred and is visited by devotees as well as tourists. You can stay an overnight in panchavati.

Day 2

Nasik - Aurangabad

After breakfast, you will begin your drive to the city of Aurangabad which will take approximately 5 hours. Once you reach the city, you will stay at the hotel and take some time to relax. Then, you will start your journey to the world famous Ellora caves listed under UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, where you will be able to experience the beauty of the monastic type stone cut cave temple complex dating back to the year 600 CE. These temples represent the various cults of Hindus, Buddhists and Jains, and the most impressive of them all is the temple of Kaialsa, which is carved out of one stone and has the best designs and details. You will be able to explore the history of Ellora caves before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Aurangabad

After breakfast, begin your day trip to Ajanta caves. This UNESCO world heritage site attracts thousands of tourists each year. These caves are home to 30 Buddhist Cave temples which are considered to be the best examples of ancient Indian art. Each temple dates back to the 2nd century BC and each one is a masterpiece. Chaitya halls are adorned with intricate carved sculptures and the elegance of the architecture is truly awe-inspiring. After a one-of-a-kind experience in Ajanta, make your way back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Aurangabad.

Day 4

Aurangabad – Mumbai – Departure

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your drive to Mumbai. Based on your departure schedule, you will be assisted to board your flight at Mumbai airport. Tour Ends with Happy Memories !
